Catch up on everything
Nothing has been posted here since May 2012. Things need to be caught up on, so:
2011 (things I missed)
I did not post everything that happened in 2011. The 2 major things I remember are: Earthquake and Hurricane Irene.
The earthquake was a category 5.8, which is really big for DC. I remember it was the second day of school, and everyone and -thing was just settling in. It was almost the end of the day and we were doing something with the projector; I don't remember what. Then suddenly everything stared shaking and I could see the ground outside moving. One of my friends was the smartest of everyone; she got under the table and none of the other kids did. I don't remember what the teacher did. We had the next 2 days off from school.
Then that weekend, after a ind of scary ind of cool week, on the Saturday or Sunday the hurricane came. I think we were at a potluck when it started pouring outside. We had the Monday off from school.
I don't remember anything special from 2012.
2013
First off, in March were my first MSA tests. I remember being really worried but then they turned out easy. Also, the teacher was absent and wasn't going to come back for the rest of the school year because she was pregnant, so the long-term substitute had to deal with a bunch of big tests at the beginning of the job.
Enter August 17.
I was at the table, I don't remember what I was doing but I heard over the phone call that my mom was having with my dad the word, "puppies." So naturally I asked. My mom told me that there were no puppies but I didn't believe her. And I was right not to, because then when Daddy came home from grocery shopping he said, "Who wants to go see puppies?" and Quin and I had to go. But it is true that you can't go to an adoption event without taking a puppy home... Here is my earliest photo of her:

2014

SNOW DAY! 9 inches of valentine's day snow. Lucy LOVED it, that cute puppy.
On June 11, Lucy turned 1. A more recent photo of her but maybe not that young is:
July 13
I began to write my story that I hope to finish by Christmas, an easy date to remember. I had previously complained to my dad about Microsoft online not having any good fonts, so he gave me and Quin Google accounts. And naturally I started writing a story. As of 8:33 PM October 10, it is 109 pages long not counting the cover.
August 17
Lucy has lived with us for 1 year.
August 26
I started my LAST year of elementary school.
September 4
I turned 10 and was officially alive for 1 decade.
2015
This year.
March
Visited Sylvia, got a LOT of snow and 2 days off.
June
Lucy turned 2.
I graduated Elementary School. I don't have a photo, but there was a big ceremony with a song that kept saying, "Just keep pushing..." You can see why that's funny, right?
August
I started middle school. My official response whenever someone asks how it is: heavy.
October
